We have stayed here twice and love it! It is very comfortable, the deck out back is wonderful. There is a bonus room upstairs with comfortable couches and tv /game area for kids. Kitchen is well stocked and can hold a big group in the dining area.The only negative is that the DVD player kept stopping halfway through the movie and it took a technological wizard to figure out how to use the DVD/TV/multiple remote controls!

Thank you home owners for sharing your home. The only thing I would add to the home listing is that the washer and dryer are HE so others staying will bring the right soap. Great home.
We enjoy both the house and the location. The house was clean, new and had nice amenities. The porch heater was wonderful and the warm water outdoor hose made beach clean up much easier. Location was good for us - a few minutes walk to the beach and far enough away from town to be away from the crowds and congestion. Our only disappointment was the yard. We know that you can't grown lawn in sand, but the property is in need of some landscaping and maintenance - it was all weeds and a fair amount of trash.
The house was simply awesome, with large screen HD TV (indoor entertainment) solid surface kitchen and dinning area that makes sense and is roomy we had a great time. Decore was amazing, had a high end resort feel. Nice extra touches, soft soap and bar soup in all bathrooms/sinks. Grill with gas! Fire pit with wood... amazing. One thing to do, take the NONE PET house page out of the handbook, it scared me to rent a pet friendly house and then in the rule book it states the opposite, scared me and made us very nervous. The doggie bowls in the garage set me at ease but the conflicting message remained. LOVE THIS place.Could you email me and let me know why we got a discounted rate?Thanks
Other then not seeing the beach it was a great time. This was our 9th year of spending time together @ the beach(mom,sisters,nieces)and as always we have lots of laughs, food and relaxing moments. This was house was great, we loved the heated deck. We thank you homeowners, for sharing your beautiful home with others. Thanks again.
We really enjoyed the house we stayed in, which was clean, with comfortable beds, nice linens, appliances, etc. Our only complaint was that when we booked I asked for a place within close walking distance to town and was told this one was 6-8 blocks from Laneda. In fact, it was .9 miles from Laneda (the main street in Manzanita) which was not a practical walk for us, especially since the road has no shoulder/sidewalk there. Otherwise everything was perfect and we will be back next year or sooner! Thank you!
Unfortunately the dvd/vhs player did not work. This would have been great to have since we brought children with us. The trash was also full when we got there so we were not able to take all of our trash to the trashcan. Instead we had to leave it in the garage.
the clothes dryer took all day to dry a load, the dishwasher did not dry the dishes and the top shelf of the refrigerator froze food. the house was new, clean,toys for kids but over priced,no yard.
The Dryer has been fixed. We had no prior knowledge of the dishwasher and the fridge, we will have them looked at. There is a nice area in the back of the house with a fire pit and even a heater on the deck for those cold nights! I hope you will try us again! Thanks for the review!
