We love Water's Edge! Have stayed many times. I would be interested in buying it should the owners ever decide to sell.
We had such a great time in Manzanita. The house was GREAT. We were really impressed with how well taken care of the house was. Very clean, organized, and well decorated. We are already looking forward to coming back next year.
The location was outstanding. The house was wonderful! It was clean and spotless. Kitchen was very well equipped, as were the bathrooms! We wanted to use the bar-b-que so we called the office. Within 10 minutes, the maintenance person was there and we had the bar-b-que was all ready for us.The tv could have had a better connection but we didn't come there to watch tv, did we???All the office staff were very polite and friendly. I believe the person who was helping us was "Jen"? Anyway the self appointed princes, and we loved her. Great sense of humor and very helpful!We already reserved it for the same time next year.There was no way this week could have been better. Some of us couldnt walk very well, so the house's closeness to the beach was a real plus! And the views from the house were awesome.Needs a new guest book though. We really enjoyed our Easter Weekend. Rain or shine the house was perfect.What a view.We plan on making this a return vacation.Thank you for sharing your home with us.My granddaughter loved the beach right outside the door. The fireplace was a plus. Everything was perfect.
I took my daughter and some friends to the beach for her 14th birthday. She said it was the best birthday ever, and I agree. We were very comfortable and had a great time. I did have to wash some dishes by hand because I don't think the dishwasher worked very well. Also, there were some lights that needed replacing. But, overall the property was in good shape. The staff is fantastic!
Weather the weekend of Feb. 19-21 was perfect!Two things:There should be a BBQ. Had to buy a temporary one for $20.Cleaning fee--after all you ask the user to do before leaving, this should be waived unless they don't do it.That's all. We love Waters Edge and the people at SSVR!
We loved our stay! The house is beautiful and so well appointed for a rental - everything you'd want. The location is ideal, right on the beach, near to town. We will be coming back!
I've been coming to the beach since I was a child, and have rented lots of beach houses. This is one of the first that I am anticipating renting again. Wonderful, wonderful. Beautiful, but lived in. Lovely, but comfortable. Well-stocked kitchen. And what can one even say about the view?
The house is perfect for families with small children. We stayed there with 4 adults and 6 children and had the best time ever. The house is very well designed, very spacious and the best view from almost all rooms. The kids could play in the sand while the parents watched them from the deck or from inside the house. Definitely the best place we ever stayed in Manzanita and we already thought that the other places were good.
Very comfortable house that all four of us enjoyed ! Look forward to coming back -- staff response was awesome!
Needed a flashlight, found two, both had expired batteries. Lighting was generally poor; not enough light to play games, read, etc.
We come to the same property every year and are never dissappointed! The house is great but not always is the weather.
This is our second visit to Water's Edge and we love the property. The view and beach location are wonderful and the fireplace in the living room, facing the ocean, ensured that even if we had cold rainy weather we would have a wonderful relaxing time.
I really appreciated SVR's flexilibty on price.. in the middle of the recession. That made me a customer for life. Also, appreciated the flexibilty on departure.. As an owner myself, I know how guests can be, but liked the response. Thanks
We're a group of friends who have rented this property for years and love almost everything about it. We did have some dishwasher problems and a bathroom leak that occurred on our last day so it luckily didn't impact our stay. We appreciate how the property is continually updated with kitchen remodel, new furniture when needed etc. Perfect place to stay for a getaway with large family or group of friends.
This house is right on the beach, with the best view you can ask for.

It was a fabulous house. We have rented from other agencies in the past. This is the first time w/Sunset and by far, the simplest process and cleanest house!!! We will definitely be back!!! Thank you!!
The house was too dimly lit once dusk fell (which in early January was by 5 pm. Otherwise it was very nice.
